I was dissatisfied with the quality of my original recording, it was just plain bad, so I re-recorded the reading and created a new video. The video includes an animated bit of cartography. The route of the Overland Stage is traced upon a map of Kansas with a red line for that portion of the chapter. The map is the 1860 Map of Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas by Samuel Augustus Mitchell
